My name is Elizabeth Foxton and I am your current Councillor and your Independents for Herefordshire candidate in the County Council election being held in Eign Hill Ward on the 4th May 2023 and your City Council candidate for Victoria Park Ward.
We are a grass-roots group of independent, organised, and capable local people working in communities across the County to benefit local residents. We are the largest opposition party on the County Council and are in a coalition administration.
I’ve lived and worked in Hereford for the whole of my professional life. I specialise in education, and spent ten years teaching at Broadlands School.
Eign Hill and Victoria Park deserve to continue to have a Councillor who is active on the council and is a strong voice for your concerns. I have worked hard for you all for 4 years and, with your support, hope to be to continue to do so.
I believe in canvassing the old-fashioned way, door-to-door, and will visit every household in the run-up to the election. I will also be delivering some election literature for your consideration, and hope you will support me and the Independents for Herefordshire so we can continue to deliver on our promises and the positive changes that Herefordshire needs, keeping local politics independent.
