I am standing for re-election and seek your support in the Local Elections on the 4th May 2023, it has been an honour to serve you for the past 2 terms. These past 8 years have been a huge learning curve, which I have utilised and embraced! I have cemented relationships with Parish Councils, Governing bodies and local Community Groups, facilitating identified needs and vision for the future.
A little about myself ...... Born and bred in Herefordshire, I have lived in the ward for over 27 years with my husband and two sons. I continue to have an interest in Health and Social Care as was a General Nurse until I changed course to become a Midwife. I have devoted 25 years to the NHS and am now retired but I have found this an asset. I have been the Cabinet member for Health and Adult Well being for the past 4 years.
I will work hard on your behalf and as an INDEPENDENT Councillor, with support from the Independents For Herefordshire. As an INDEPENDENT, I will be paying my own election expenses with no allegiance to donors — my only allegiance will be to the people of Queenswood Ward.
